Individual psychotherapy

Kate offers individual psychotherapy to adults and older adolescents over 16 years of age. Therapy typically begins with two initial assessment sessions, then proceeds to a brief or longer-term intervention based on client need and preference. Sessions are 50-minutes long and typically offered weekly.

Infant Sleep Support

Kate offers psychological assessment and intervention to parents wanting support with infant sleep. Parents experiencing infant sleep difficulties or expectant parents can attend several 50-minute sessions to learn about normal infant night-waking and the neurobiology of infant sleep, and to create and review a tailored evidence-based plan for supporting their baby to consolidate their sleep to better align with their parents’ sleep needs.

Kate’s approach is consistent with Dr Pamela Douglas’ Neuroprotective Developmental Care (NDC; also knows as the Possums programs).
